Self Medication

By Kenton Gray Stover
I like to get really fxxxed up,
And I don't care who knows it!
It makes me happy, doesn't hurt anyone,
So why would I ever wanna quit?
(Chorus)
Some call it substance abuse,
But I call it self medication.
I don't even need an excuse,
I just prefer intoxication! (end chorus)
Being alone doesn't bother me ,
But just I can't stand sobriety.
I don't have or need a soul mate,
All I need is to self medicate!
If all the drugs I like were legal,
I might not be so fxxxin evil!
Let me get high however I please,
& I might not cut you off at your knees!
(Repeat chorus)
You say drugs & alcohol are just a crutch,
If that's true why the fxxx can't I stand up?
I'm starting to feel my face again
So it's time to take my medicine!
(Repeat chorus)
