In the twilight of my room
Where the shadows dance with doom
The echos of a spoon
Falling far from the moon

Walls breathe with eyes unseen
Morphing veins in the in-between
Whispers from a darkened screen
Reality’s fray, a ragged dream

Chorus:
I’m pulling back from the monsters within my veins
Echoes of chaos, in the rattling chains
Every shadow morphs, takes a different form
As I battle the beasts in this withdrawal storm

Verse 2:

Visions swirl, they twist and scream
In the corners where light once beamed
Shaking hands, a silent plea
From the poison that won’t let me be

Spectral foes, the nightly hosts
Guardians of what haunts me most
The remnants of my chemical ghosts
Face them alone, this morbid post
