Humpty Dumpty sat on a bin
The lid collapsed and he fell in
The binman came and tipped it up
But poor old Humpty he was stuck

Humpty Dumpty sat on the floor
The hard floor it made his bum sore
Underneath him rose some steam
On his bum he placed some cream

Humpty Dumpty you had best not
Sit on anything
For no matter what you sit on
Sorrow it will bring

Humpty Dumpty sat on a fence
But poor old Humpty had no sense
For on the fence were lots of spikes
Now spiky fences he dislikes

Humpty Dumpty sat on a log
Then he saw a great big dog
The dog it cocked its leg up and
This poor Humpty had not planned

Humpty Dumpty you had best not
Sit on anything
For no matter what you sit on
Sorrow it will bring

Humpty Dumpty sat on a crate
But it could not take his weight
Crates for Humpty are not meant
Up his bum a splinter went

Humpty Dumpty sat on a swing
Joy he thought that it would bring
But he swung too high and then
He did not come down again

Humpty Dumpty could no longer
Sit on anything
For now high up in outer space
Humpty was floating
