You say your love for me has faded,
You've changed while I've remained; our bond degraded.
I can evolve, show me how, and I'll bow.
Recall our dances, those musical flares,
Mastering steps, we took love's daring dares.
I was your Astaire; we'd share playful stares.

I crafted verses, love's gentle embrace,
Serenaded you, our laughter's warm trace,
And brought joy, melodies of birds in flight.
I can transform, be the muse you admire,
Just voice your wish; let passion inspire.
We'll stage a grand performance; love's burning fire.

But you argue I can't bring you delight,
How can I? You're elusive, quick to ignite,
Changing with seasons, reasons concealed.
When I say "I love you,"
You blur the meaning, a haze that grew.
Your words shift, leaving interpretations askew.

You made promises, like a mountain tall,
Yet like rose stems, they withered, now to fall.
One day they shined, the next they caused me pain.
You blew hot, then cold, we were intertwined,
Now your stormy autumn chills my mind.

Like frozen water, you emanate a chilling cold,
