I am looking for the following:
Lyrics, or full songs, but it’s not necessary, in the style of the good old sould music, or neosoul songs, rnb with a modern aproach.
Examples:
CLassic soul: Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder, Johny Winter…
Neosoul: Laurin Hil, D’Angelo, Ben L’Oncle Soul, Jamie Lidell, Aloe Black…
English is not my first language and I am looking to good songs for recording, arranging and singing: voice male, soul / gospel / rnb singing style.
Feel free to ask me anything, thanks in advance!Contact: [email protected] (refAlan. JDV)

Hi. Just wondering if you are still on the lookout for lyrics? I write mostly folk and pop but my lyrics are honest and soulful and could be applied to many genres including RnB/soul. I have three new songs being screened by admin at the moment which I think could be useful to you, in addition to those already published. http://www.futuresongs.co.ukHi Michael, let me know if you want to see more of my stuff. This song is called SHOW HIM inspired by Barbara Streisand’s TELL HIM
11885SHOW HIM
I’m scared, so unsure to tell him what I want from him
Will he feel the noose is tightening round his neck?
Ooh, what if he doesn’t feel the same way?
Maybe he isn’t serious, and I scare him away
This might end up being the beginning of the the end. It’s not always wise to wear your heart on your sleeve
Before he feels he can’t do without you
Just learn to read the signs and he will never leaveYou can show him,
life is so much sweeter when you’re in his arms
And show him,
show him what his life would be without your love
You’ve built him up to feel important
But kept a part of you a mystery
No one would make him feel the way you doShow him that he makes you tremble in his arms
That you need him holding you so tight
You’re scared you’ll shatter into a million piecesSo tell him that you love him just before you close your eyes
You’re in his arms, and he feels so good
Who in his right mind walks away from this
When he’s feeling such a man
You can show him,
life is so much sweeter when you’re in his arms
And show him,
show him what his life would be without your love
You’ve built him up to feel important
But kept a part of you a mystery
No one would make him feel the way you doLove is common and also rare
It’s not forbidden fruit for those who dare
It’s the greatest gift if you really careLove is like a tsunami gathering speed
You could be crushed without a trace
But fortune only favours the brave
So catch the tide and ride the wave. You can show him,
life is so much sweeter when you’re in his arms
And show him,
show him what his life would be without your love
You’ve built him up to feel important
But kept a part of you a mystery
No one would make him feel the way you doOoh, he’ll never let you go

Please feel free to check out my profile on Songbay (http://songbay.co/artists/16154/) and you will find my recent uploaded songs. I am always writing new songs and can also write a new song for you. Would love to hear from you. Kind regards, Lynette. This is a verse from my song inspired by sittin on the dock of the bay. Let me know if you want to see the whole song. Bless! Jelli
11885On my way to work
I found myself driving past the gate
I parked my car in the mall
And headed for that small cafe
I’m drowning in my eight to four
It seems like nothing’s ever going to change
So it can wait while I take a break
It will be there when the morning comes
So I’ll be chillin in the sheesha garden
Blowing smoke

adminKeymasterAleahTaylor wrote:Hello,My name is Aleah Taylor and I have been a professional lyricist for seven years. I have worked for four music production companies and six independent artists. Luckily I have been able to work with a huge range of genres such as pop/rock/house/R&B/folk/country/hip-hop and choral. I am currently employed by two different production companies and a composer, however because I have a fast turn-over rate and am a lyricist full-time I am always keen to take on new work, no matter how arduous. I love the challenge that writing lyrics presents, working with different concepts, beautiful music and talented people. I have a small percentage of my spare work up on my profile on this site: http://songbay.co/artists/16156/
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have, or if you’d like a sample of my work in a certain genre. I am happy to oblige!
Thank you for reading,
Aleah Taylor
Hey,
I’m new to music writing, I have questions about how it goes. I write songs all the time until someone actually brought it up to me as a career. So I’m looking into it 😎 .
