Verse 1:
Our God is on high
He sits upon the throne
He reigns in majesty
In glory He's enthroned
Lift up your voice
And your hands
In praise
Shout aloud
to the ancient
of days
Pre-chorus:
Sing for joy
Oh ye mountains
Clap your hands
Oh ye seas
Join with God's people
In celebration
Of our God
The King of kings
Chorus:
Shout hallelujah
Hallelujah
With a loud triumphant voice
Shout hallelujah
Hallelujah
Lift your voice
Rejoice
Verse 2:
The trees extol His works
The mountains do proclaim
His everlasting love
Forever He's the same
Lift up your voice
And your hands
Give him thanks
Proclaim His deeds
In joy
Sing and dance
Pre-chorus:
Sing for joy
Oh ye peoples
Clap your hands
Oh ye coasts
Join with God's people
In celebration
Of our God
The Lord of Hosts

Shout hallelujah
Hallelujah
With a loud triumphant voice
Shout hallelujah
Hallelujah
Lift your voice
Rejoice

Shout hallelujah

Hallelujah
Lift your voice

[Repeat Chorus till fade]
Song Lyricist
I began writing poems in 1999, after the untimely death of my mother, Elizabeth Gadzama. It helped me deal with the pain of her passing. I gradually went on to write songs and I've been writing since 2001. I hope you enjoy my lyrics. If you do please consider recording them as I get great joy from hearing my words come to life as great songs.
