It took some time for me to know me

I am so much more than what I thought that I would be
My identity is in the Lord who’s guiding me

It took some time for me to know me
So don’t be acting like you know me
The new me, not the old me

My brain changed. I see old habits as strange thangs
The old man would see the world and like the same thangs
But I let Jesus take the wheel and then my lane changed
