Free Indeed
By Don Gramur
Whom He sets free, is truly free indeed (x2)
Whom the Son sets free, is truly free indeed
Whom He sets free, is truly free indeed (Repeat x 2)
Not free to sin, freedom from sin, I am no longer a slave
Jesus within, I can’t pretend, that I’m still stuck in my ways
No compromising, no pleasing men, Father God I will obey
You got my attention, so I intend, to serve you for all of my days
Acknowledging you, and you coordinate as I quarterback all of these plays
I gotta be brave, you said be encouraged and you said to be not dismayed
The fear of the LORD in my heart... To this world I will not be afraid
You are with me wherever I go. If life were to bruise then you are the first aid
Whom He sets free, is truly free indeed (x2)
Whom the Son sets free, is truly free indeed
Whom He sets free, is truly free indeed (Repeat x 2)
You’ve given salvation to me, I don’t have to earn it salvation is free
You’ve given instructions to me, to not live in bondage, to live righteously
Your will is fair and it’s Just, and daily your Word I receive
I’m walking with you and I trust, ‘cause you are Truth I believe
You’re all of the proof that I need, the daily bread to fulfill all of my needs
Your Holy Spirit fulfilling my thirst more abundant than all of the seas
The type of fruit you produce in a man more resilient than the olive trees
You didn’t just die for MY sins, you made it so all could be free
Whom He sets free, is truly free indeed (x2)
Whom the Son sets free, is truly free indeed
Whom He sets free, is truly free indeed (Repeat x 2)
Look at us…
God’s armor so the world can’t bully us
God’s Word so this world ain’t fooling us
…Empty philosophy ain’t schooling us
The lies of the devils ain’t moving us
Keep praying that the devil ain’t using us
Truth is, Jesus Christ ain’t losing us
Gotta thank the LORD above just for choosing us
Approving us. Perfected in Christ
So shoutout to my sisters and my brethren in Christ
Who will never see death cause it’s heaven for life
Who know the Bible is the truth, there’s no better advice
Who know that we are made new, putting death to a vice
The Holy Spirit helps you put them evil pleasures aside
Holy Spirit, Comforter, who is better to guide?
We made free in Jesus Christ, it is settled for life, eternal life
