About Me

Bio

I am a writer and advocate who believes in the power of staying visible. My journey is defined by a deep, unwavering honesty and the choice to lead with vulnerability. Living with PTSD and bipolar depression has taught me that strength isn’t the absence of struggle, but the determination to remain productive and connected through it.

I have been putting pen to paper since the age of 15, and over the decades, my creative process has become my most vital tool for healing. I write from the depths of feeling, using poetry and lyrics to process complex emotions and translate them into a source of connection for others. Nature is my greatest muse; the stillness and beauty of the natural world provide the inspiration I need to articulate the human experience.

My life is anchored by the things I adore:

Family & Friends: I am a proud mother to my adult son and deeply cherish the bonds I share with my friends and the community that supports me. My siblings are very supportive, as well, full of love and kindness, and always willing to help.

Animals: A lifelong animal lover, I share a special bond with my cat, Amethyst, who is a constant source of joy.

Whether I am writing from my mobile workspace or finding quiet reflection in nature, my goal remains the same: to use my gift for words to reduce stigma and build a life worth living, one verse at a time.
