Blaming my childhood for the things I did not do
For all the things I should be doing blamed everyone else too
Growing up with hope and dreams to finaly reach my goal
But the fear of faillir was so great so I stopt and lost my soul
To a world where education and a job is the only priority you’ve got
Where does it leave the space for music and the chance to be me
Right now I am not
I graduated got me a job it all turned my life around
I lost my will to smile and wished never to be found
Me dysfunctional again not normal in any way
Found out at 25 I did not fell for woman so I must be gay
Friends talking of only one treatment they thoutght it was great
I said no psychiatrist, they said no way, you have to get laid.
So went to amsterdam germany and spain
Made love on the beach standing up in the rain
The passion, the spanking that was tough
After a few relationships I thought this is enough
On my own again feeling single and free
I knew what I wanted someone who believed in me
Did not want to own or claim possesion is wrong
Strong independent big, uhu made me feel I belong
Not asking questions why when or how
Just take me as I am let that be our vow
I need my space my spirit has to be free
Trust me when I am gone let me fly I’ll come back you’ll see.
The man that I wanted came into my life
Gave me back the will to smile
Made me chase my dreams I got hope again
He is making it all worth while
The love is much stronger now my spirit is free
I can sing and I can dance most important I can be me
Letting me fly catching me if I should fall
Cause keeping the one that you love in a cage
Then they would surley die after all
