Keith Thompson is a veteran British blues-rock guitarist, singer-songwriter, and producer with a career spanning over four decades. From his early days touring the Hamburg club circuit to performing at major European festivals, Thompson has become a staple of the UK blues scene. Best known for his explosive guitar work and soulful songwriting, he has released 14 albums and shared the stage with legends such as Steve Winwood and Ruby Turner. Whether performing with his high-energy power trio or in an intimate acoustic setting, Thompson continues to deliver "spectacular guitar work" (Blues Matters) that honors the golden era of British blues-rock.

Early Years: He began playing guitar at age 5 and started performing professionally at 14. In the 1970s, he toured Germany with his band Poacher Brown, followed by a stint in the twin-guitar band Bunter alongside Mick "Wurzel" Burston (who later joined Motörhead).

Solo & Band Work: He has released over 14 albums to date. His music ranges from full-throttle blues-rock to acoustic-focused projects. His 12th album, Transcendence, and his 8th album, Catch the Fire, received significant critical acclaim.

The Keith Thompson Band: His touring band frequently performs across the UK and mainland Europe (notably in Switzerland, Germany, Poland, and Croatia). The lineup often features renowned musicians like saxophonist Patsy Gamble and drummer Roy Adams.
