I’ve been writing songs for over 20 years. In 2010 I did a media arts course, we had to write songs and tunes, record them and performed them as well. I hear music all the time in my head, and I’ve been a meditator for over 20 years which helps put me in a zone where the music flows like an algorithm that’s why I identified myself as the Algorithms.
Sometimes I hear songs in my dreams, and I wake up and record them on my phone, so I don’t forget them. Meditation helps to put me in a Theta and Alpha state which are states one enters before falling to sleep. I also use music and dancing as exercises for mental health because I work in that area. Music has healing power, which can help people overcome being self-conscious because it bypasses all the compulsive thinking and analysing within the mind and goes straight to the heart and soul of the person
inging out their natural rhythm and happy energy which allows people to use more of their true potential.
I grew up in a musical family, and my biggest musical influences were the Beatles and the music from the 60s. I’ve always been into art, but when I learnt the art of meditation over 20 years ago I learnt that the real art is the art of living, so I put my focus and attention into learning how to control the mind more effectively so that it doesn’t control me which helps create peace and harmony within allowing one’s creativity and energy to flow better. I feel that I can write about anything if I was asked to because I’ve done it for so long plus meditation has expanded my insight and awareness into areas that I would not have been aware of if I didn’t know how to meditate.
