It was hidden in plain sight
But nobody saw the clues
Looking back I’m sure that is untrue
I wonder how many really knew?
It was hidden in plain sight
It was hidden in plain sight
But people turned the other way
They didn’t want to have a say
In case there was a price to pay
It was hidden in plain sight
It was hidden in plain sight
But so many chose to ignore
They walked away & slammed the door
On all the travesties they saw
It was hidden in plain sight
It was hidden in plain sight
But no one dared to shout
No one wanted to call it out
The perpetrators had too much clout
It was hidden in plain sight
1. The weather delivered rain
It was messing with your brain
Brought you nothing more than pain
Thought you were going to go insane
(Chorus)
You can’t control the weather
It’s out of your control
You can’t change the weather
You’ve got to let it roll
You can’t change the weather
It does what it wants to do
You can’t change the weather
But the weather can change you
2. The weather delivered snow
Which was a massive blow
Life became real slow
When there was no where you could go
(Chorus)
You can’t control the weather
It’s out of your control
You can’t change the weather
You’ve got to let it roll
You can’t change the weather
It does what it wants to do
You can’t change the weather
But the weather can change you
3. The weather delivered wind
Everything was slightly tinged
So many plans had to rescind
Left you feeling quite unhinged
(Chorus)
You can’t control the weather
It’s out of your control
You can’t change the weather
You’ve got to let it roll
You can’t change the weather
It does what it wants to do
You can’t change the weather
But the weather can change you
4. The weather delivered sun
Brighter days for everyone
A change in mood had begun
It was time to have some fun
(Chorus)
You can’t control the weather
It’s out of your control
You can’t change the weather
You’ve got to let it roll
You can’t change the weather
It does what it wants to do
You can’t change the weather
But the weather can change you
1. When you close your eyes at night
A whole new world comes into sight
The life you wish that you could live
A life for you that I could give
(Chorus)
I wanna make your dreams come true
I wanna do it just for you
I’ll do whatever I have to do
I wanna make your dreams come true
2. When you lay your head to sleep
A million fantasies come and creep
Into your heart and fill your mind
Desires that I will help you find
(Chorus)
I wanna make your dreams come true
I wanna do it just for you
I’ll do whatever I have to do
I wanna make your dreams come true
3. When darkness hits as you close your eyes
An array of possibilities arise
Express all of these thoughts to me
So I can turn them into reality
(Chorus)
I wanna make your dreams come true
I wanna do it just for you
I’ll do whatever I have to do
I wanna make your dreams come true
It was hidden in plain sight

1. They come promising miracles
That they always knew were a lie
Don’t be fooled & fall under their spells
Spread your own wings to fly
(Chorus)
The pied piper is calling
With bells, whistles & shiny things
Will you fall under their spell
Be their puppet on a string
2. “Believe in me” they will shout
Don’t fall for the trap & follow them blind
It’s only themselves that they care about
How many times have we seen their kind
(Chorus)
The pied piper is calling
With bells, whistles & shiny things
Will you fall under their spell
Be their puppet on a string
3. Go out and forge your own path
Don’t always follow the pack
You be the one who gets the last laugh
When you weren’t led like so many rats
(Chorus)
The pied piper is calling
With bells, whistles & shiny things
Will you fall under their spell
Be their puppet on a string
1. I’ve got an idea that will blow your mind
So unique, it’s one of a kind
It’ll be something never been seen before
You’ll be in awe as you jaw hits the floor
(Chorus)
I’m gonna do something magnificent
For the whole world to see
I’m gonna do something magnificent
Everyone take a good look me
2. I’m gonna take you to a new reality
That will spread across the whole galaxy
Make sure you don’t avert your eyes
Cos a magical vibe’s gonna fill up the skies
(Chorus)
I’m gonna do something magnificent
For the whole world to see
I’m gonna do something magnificent
Everyone take a good look me
3. So much love is gonna radiate
From the energy that this will create
An experience that’s totally amazing
Earth changing, upstaging, everyone’s gonna be praising
(Chorus)
I’m gonna do something magnificent
For the whole world to see
I’m gonna do something magnificent
Everyone take a good look me
1. I’ve got an idea that will blow your mind

I’m gonna do something magnificent

Your soul knows what to do
Your soul knows what’s best for you
Get out of your head, look into your heart
Get off your a$$ & make a start
(Chorus)
There’s more for you out there
If you dare, if you dare
Show the world your flair
If you dare, if you dare
Live without a care
If you dare, if you dare
Do you dare?
Look into your mind
In your mind is where you’ll find
The path that you must take
Only you control your fate
(Chorus)
There’s more for you out there
If you dare, if you dare
Show the world your flair
If you dare, if you dare
Live without a care
If you dare, if you dare
Do you dare?
Tap into your heart
Your beating heart will play a part
Release the fear of letting go
And let everybody know
(Chorus)
There’s more for you out there
If you dare, if you dare
Show the world your flair
If you dare, if you dare
Live without a care
If you dare, if you dare
Do you dare?
Craving stimulation
Whilst drowning in mindless information
Hyper productivity
Is killing creativity
Technical Collaboration
Record numbers of social isolation
Demand for more to be produced
Natural resources being reduced
(Chorus)
The Paradox of our era
Nothings getting clearer
The paradox of our era
Anonymous heroes speak their truth
Void of evidence or proof
Promises of a world united
Increased hatred fuelled, ignited
Connections easily accessible
Predators prey upon the vulnerable
(Chorus)
The Paradox of our era
Nothings getting clearer
The paradox of our era
Is there opportunity
In a world of artificial reality
Can we nourish, feed the soul
With oppressive technical control
An endless stream of dataflow
The more we learn the less we know
(Chorus)
The Paradox of our era
Nothings getting clearer
The paradox of our era
It was hidden in plain sight
But nobody saw the clues
Looking back I’m sure that is untrue

Writing lyrics is a passion of mine. I am a writer not a musician so I am hoping to collaborate with someone who can create the perfect sound to accompany my words. The music genres that I have uploaded to my lyrics are only suggestions, I am more than happy for any genre to be employed. I'm really excited to see what sounds people can create to compliment my words.
