Thomas J Measey

Verse 1

Every Christmas morning I’m makin’

Eggnog and bacon

Jingle bells are ringin’ {insert sound of bells ringing}

Everybody’s singin’ Christmas …

Songs on the radio

And I don’t care if you-know-who is

Checking it twice to see if I’m nice ‘cause I just want you to …

Chorus

Ho ho ho – hold me tight

On this Christmas night, and

Fa la la – lay with me

By this here Christmas tree

Everything will be alright

Whether Santa comes or not tonight

I don’t need any presents from him

When I’ve got you by my side

Verse 2

There’s glass Christmas ornaments breakin’

And sugar cookies bakin’

Church bells are clangin’ {insert sound of church bells ringing}

Mistletoe is hangin’ above us

So let’s sit by the fire light

Watch the night sky through the falling snow, and if we

Don’t see his sleigh I’m still hoping you’ll stay ‘cause I just need you to…

Chorus

Ho ho ho – hold me tight

On this Christmas night, and

Fa la la – lay with me

By this here Christmas tree

Everything will be alright

Whether Santa comes or not tonight

I don’t need any presents from him

When I’ve got you by my side
