Jonathan Bancke

To see the Diamonds in your hair,
To feel the warmth in your stare.

Touch the hands of my soul,
Touch the veins of my core.

Dive into my sins,
Release the wounds of my winds.

Keep searching for the light,
Keep searching for his sight.

He’s kept you from the fire,
That pain you felt, you desired.

Forget the people that wronged you,
Hold those close that inspire the truth.

Angels fly above your mind,
Angels soar inside the blind.

Even though they deny his love,
Heaven drops those peaceful doves.

So put together your drops of tears,
Gather up those hateful years.

Release them to the night of day,
Settle them down to calm the stray.

Oh keep fighting that pain you feel,
Keep moving on for the one’s you conceal

Chorus:

Oh ya keep holding on, oh don’t forget those words of song.
Oh keep holding on, don’t forget those words of song. 2x

Step into your destiny,
Cease the myths that make you believe.

The life that bound you to the tree,
Stop pointing fingers that don’t complete.

Keep that distance from dark souls we meet,
They will engulf you with their endless waste, they seek.

Capture the beauty oh bring it near,
Capture the beauty oh sing it clear.

Follow the footsteps up into the light,
Head toward that final meaningful mite.

Chorus:

Oh ya keep holding on, oh don’t forget those words of song. Oh keep holding on, just don’t forget those words of song. Just keep holding on. You can’t forget those words of song. Just keep holding on. You got to keep holding on. Oh keep holding on. Don’t forget those words of song.
