MUSIC FOR SALE

It all started with my sixty six blue pony
We’d listen and sing to Bony Maroni
While ridin’ in my blue pony
Our days were never lonely

It started with the blue pony
Where I found love for you only
Oh oh oh oh oh
We’d sit on the hood under the starlight
Dreaming about our life and what it would be like”

“Kissin’ and a huggin’
Talkin’ and a cuddlin’
Thank God for that blue pony
In seventy three I wanted you only
That mustang wasn’t much
But it got us in touch”

“My blue pony with the bucket seats
My black pony where our hearts would meet
In seventy three you were my life
In seventy five you became my wife
We got married in that 68 black pony
It brought back memories of the blue pony
Umm umm umm oh oh

We went cruising the streets with our friends
Never knowing how this would end
Carefree and having fun
Kissing and laughing under the sun

Oh that blue pony took us far
From city lights to country stars
Driving on country roads at night
Watching stars shine so bright

The years went by like a rolling tide
But I remember you by my side
In that blue pony we’d laugh and sigh
And some times we’d even cry

Now we're gray but love's still true
Singin' Boni Maroni with the grandkids too
Kissin’ and a huggin’ close and tight
Talkin’ and cuddlin’ every night
Thank God for that blue pony ride Ummm oh oh oh
