"Pigeon Pat"

Pigeon Pat
Always sat
With pigeon Mat
And pigeon Kat

On a wire of high voltage,
And they would judge
All the people below
As they would come and go.

“Look at that guy
In a black tie
Why is he
In such a hurry?”
Said Pat, looking at Mat.

“He must be late,
Perhaps for a date?”
Said Mat, looking at Kat.

“Men are stupid
You can’t cheat Cupid!
If you love in haste,
It will be a big waste!”
Said pigeon Kat.

“Oh, look at that!”
Said pigeon Pat,
“Those pretty girls
Such lovely curls!
Aren’t they showing off?”

“They’re young, don’t be tough!”
Said pigeon Mat,
As he pooped on a hat.

“And every fair from fair
Does falter!”
Pigeon Kat cooed,
In a good mood.
She loved Shakespeare,
Dark bread and beer.

“And look at that dog,
He is here to jog,”
Said pigeon Pat
Looking at the brat.

“He comes with a boy
Who seems to be his toy,”
Said pigeon Mat,
Enjoying the chat.

Pigeon Kat intervened:
“He looks like a fiend,
Owning a poor boy,
Making him his toy!”

She looked at a doughnut
And then she thought,
“Humans are strange,
Never wanting to change.”

“Let’s go to lunch!”
Flew the happy bunch.
