FORGIVING
(Lyrics by Sal Salgado)

Verse 1
Millions of people make
Millions of mistakes everyday
Cos they don’t know what is right – to do
Millions of people live with
Millions of mistakes that they have made
In the past – and they can’t forget

Chorus 1
Nobody is perfect
So don’t look for perfection
Forgiving – is giving – give now
Forgiving – is the best you can give
do it now

Verse 2
There’s no humanity – in this society
Everything for money – and power
Life is a short journey – Live it free of hostility
Hate, Anger and despair – oh yeah

Chorus 2
Nobody is perfect
So don’t look for perfection
Forgiving – is giving – give now
Forgiving – is the best you can give
do it now

Nothing is perfect
Nothing will last forever - yeah
Forgiving – is giving – give now
Forgive – and give what you can

Interlude

Repeat Chorus 2

Forgive me
if this song made you – feel sad
