Not Just For Christmas

Verse 1
It’s here again you’re full of Christmas cheer
Tell me my friend what have you done this year?
Did you keep your resolutions?
Did you find the right solutions?
Nevermind next year - just try again
It’s not too late - to make that change - change - change

CHORUS
So when the kids are skating on very thin ice
Promising Sant’s they’re gonna be nice
Niceness is for life not just for Christmas
When you’re wishing this year for peace on earth
Making that wish for all you’re worth
Peace is for life not just for Christmas

Verse 2
This Christmas time as you wonder, will it snow?
Another year has flown the seasons they come and they go
Did you take time to call on Mater?
Did you make peace with poor old Pater?
It’s good to know - you’ll try again
I’m glad to hear - you’ll make that change - next - year

CHORUS
So when you’ve raised a glass of Christmas cheer
Then you’re ringing in a brand new year
Ring in for life, not just for Christmas
When you take a cup of kindness yet
For the sake of Auld Lang Syne YES
Kindness is for life - not just for Christmas

Instrumental - 8 bars

BRIDGE
Ring out the old Blue
Ring in the new Blue
It’s time for change
And it’s all on you

Ring them in for life

Merry Christmas Blue. Make that change.
