Emptiness is so heavy
Oh, how I miss hugging my child.
My arms ache for they only hold memories of her.
Emptiness is SO heavy.
I pray for the pain to go away.
But my soul is nothing but grief.
Every breath is a silent scream.
Come back my child , come back to me,
Come back and smile at me.
Give us back our beloved homeland,
our beloved Palestine,
They’ve stolen my land, my home,
the water, the olive trees...
You name it, they’ve stolen it
The only way we'll leave this land is feet first
I am just left with the memories of my child.
They won’t take that away from me.
I shall take these to my grave.
