I know we've been down a rough road,
I've put you through some bad you've put me through some worse,
we broke eachother's heart when we put ourselves first,
our selfishness caused us to hurt, and say real ugly words.

Words that weren't meant but were said out of anger,
words you wouldn't even say to a goddamn stranger,
but our love is a real game changer

look into my eyes and tell me what you see.

and no one else, it's true.
And I get lost, so lost, and for that single pause, I can see the cause, of this love we've brought

And for that single moment all the pain erases, when we look into eachother's faces,
and my heart just races, in so many paces, and there's no other way to say this, we can be lost in mazes, but it's worth all the chases, and we'll find our way back by following our traces.
