Where the Scottish weather every moment swains.
In the morning in my window, I'll see the bright sun.
And the cunning seagulls cry in non-translated puns
I'll decide not to take my big and strong umbrella.
I'm caught in this vicious circle forever.

I'm not ducking from the rain.
I'm ducking to the rain.
I'm ducking in the rain.
I'm a duck in the rain.
I'm an Edinburgh duck in the rain.

I'll come to the cafe wet from head to toe.
But you'll still say through laughter that I'm beau.
I'll tell you that seagulls are to blame for everything.
And I'll work up the courage to give you a ring.
I'm sure you'll tell me yes it can't be otherwise.
I'm caught in this vicious circle and this fact is nice.
