The Eyes Of A Woman

Time stands still for the eyes of a woman
When she’s ready for a good man to find her
Tears are frozen in the eyes of a woman
When she just wants someone to see her

Holiday lights still glow in the dark
As she floats to the door in form
There’s something about her eyes tonight
Never seen a woman looking so warm

I think she saw inside at a point
Looked in a mirror liked what she saw

They look like a lady I knew before
The tenderness counters experience
When a woman is ready for something real
