Your voice I do miss
Like a feeling close to pain
A longing for the day
To hear its sweetness again

It’s somewhere I cannot reach
Where it is I’ll never know
It’s lost in the darkest corner
Because I forgot it long ago

Standing on the corner of nowhere,
Nothing but darkness around
Trying to make my way to you,
Guided only by the sound

Softly softly, I hear you speak my name
Receiving your voice with joy
Your words sounding so sweet
Making me feel like a little boy

Lost in the dark, my way I cannot see
Found only in the place, where you speak to me
So speak gentle your words,

I hang on your every word,
Like a child full of wonder
Your voice drifts on the wind
Stopping my from going under

In my darkest moods,

My anger fades away

When finally I reach your touch
The hand outstretched in the gloom
A relief hard to describe

Comfort like a warm blanket
