Let it be ahh-more
By Damsi Deau
(verse 1)
A few years later...
... after that night,
I've had a few thoughts poured into a glass.
Reflecting back, it was an exceptional height
that I had reached... from that evening emersed into the night.
(verse 2)
A few drinks later...
... the twister in my mind reached its climax,
And a feeling got to see its fulfillment on the spot...
(pre-chorus)
Got to be reflective
of the ways we've ben doing this so far.
Got to be an incentive
to move the standard right up!
(chorus)
I let the background carry the weight the figure could not,
And an idea raised just slightly off the surface, forever half-thought, always after-sought,
And I followed it up:
Let it be dealt,
Feelings on the table,
Eyes on each other;
Love is enabled,
For the heart is able!
Let it be felt.
Never fully parting ways with its background,
The glass which was to build on life remained partly raised, partly embedded.
That is how I felt,
Always in expectation,
Always in progress.
Let it be dreamt.
(verse 3)
A few stamps later...
... the marks that you have left, they returned.
And that felt so rewarding!
Because love of something,
Love of someone, too,
Is based on and it builds on incandescent wording!
(pre-chorus)
Got to be reflective
of the ways we've been doing this so far.
Got to be an incentive
to move the standard up.
Make use of it in a replenishing manner,
Make do of it in a relief,
A raised idea of a life that felt suppressed.
(chorus)
I let the background carry the weight the figure could not,
And an idea raised just slightly off the surface, forever half-thought, always after-sought,
And I followed it up:
Let it be dealt,
Feelings on the table,
Eyes on each other;
Love is enabled,
For the heart is able!
Let it be felt.
Never fully parting ways with its background,
The glass which was to build on life remained partly raised, partly embedded.
That is how I felt,
Always in expectation,
Always in progress.
Let it be dreamt.
(outro)
You plan something so that it could have more to give.
You always leave it so that it will forever be ready to receive.
A seed is nothing more than a background,
A vision which is to be reflective of more...
Let it be ahh-more!
