I don't know what this could mean,
but I wake up at 2 am
feeling lonely and thirsty
for something I can't even name.
What's going on with my head?
Who twisted it up again?
Why did I let it happen?

'Cause when I stare at the mirror
my reflection looks so torn
and I can't fake it when they're around,
but nobody notices I'm breaking down.
I put on a smile and I go out
and life simply keeps moving on
and I don't know if I already gave up
but somehow my mind gets way too dark
and so the devil can have me...
I won't even fight against it...

they met me? Did I look glad?
Did my soul undergo any kind of change?
