LYRIC FOR SALE

By Richard M Moss MD

Wisdom visited your steps,
No dream foretold the curve of your lips.
Nor the song that lifted your step,
Laughter from the valley defied my grip.

Dawn announced you with a verse,
Dreams defied logic with your birth.
No fantasy explained your touch,
This miracle revealed the earth.

You bow and smile as the sky,
Grace submits to your smile.
You paint music with laughter,
Your eyes seek truth with style.

A kiss is boundless as a star,
Drawn was I from afar.
Helpless before a voice from heaven,
Thai magic lifts what is fallen.

Dawn announced you with a verse,
Dreams defied logic with your birth.
No fantasy explained your touch,
A miracle revealed the earth.

Beauty is hidden like a knife,
I cling to the majesty of such bliss.
You bow before Buddha,
My temple is your kiss.

You weakened me with style,
I could not resist paradise.
You are gracious as the dawn,
Your skin a trial of sighs.

Dawn announced you with a verse,
Dreams defied logic with your birth.
No fantasy explained your touch,
A miracle revealed the earth.

You surrender for a promise,
Time has a beginning.
Your gesture is a poem,
I receive your charity,

Your lips revealed a dream,
I am lifted by your smile.
A Thai princess has wounded me,
I am on trial.

Dawn announced you with verse,
Dreams defied logic with your birth.
No fantasy explained your touch,
A miracle revealed the earth.
