Can love close the claims of memory?
What arises from misery?
Dreams sent a message,
I lost you in the deluge.

Kindness will not satisfy,
None, my longing, will pacify.
Your love cast a net,
The Four winds wept.

I saw you in a dream,
Your voice from heaven.
I could not betray your eyes,
Nor forget the lies.

The enemies of sorrow fell,
And bowed to the holy wall.
I did not make a mockery,
I knew the fable of praise.

Kindness will not satisfy,
None, my longing, will pacify.
Your love cast a net,
The Four winds wept.

Will I overcome delusion?
The sky uncovers illusion.
Longing is a forgotten passion,
Open the door to your mansion.

Bend the bow of the enemy,
Am I guilty of heresy?
Follow the laughter of your voice,
In love, you have no choice.

For love, I crossed the sea,
The earth could not restrain me.
