Count On Me, Oh My Child
By Go Latina / Veronica Gutierrez
Count on me, oh my child
Count on me, oh my child
Count on me, oh my child
I love you, I hold you in my arms (or heart)
I love you, I hold you in my arms (or heart)
Don’t you see how I care
I support you and follow you
You are mine,
I want you to obey the law I set forth.
Don’t you see that I’m with you
You are never alone
I am right next to you
Don’t you fear, don’t let, let go.
I ask of you
To follow my word
To follow the commandments
I set forth for you, for you.
If you are with me all
I will always protect you all
I want you to trust in my word, in my love, all I am.
If you cry, I am there
If you fear, I am there
Don’t let go of me
For I always will protect thee.
If you can spread the word
To convert all to me
Please tell them that it’s time
To change and convert their hearts.
Go to sleep and to rest
Your mind ready for the test
For tomorrow you will be
The one to carry forth my cross
