But there’s a light down the hall,
I guess someone’s up, after all…
So silently, she cries,
But no one hears her tears
So she drinks them up with alcohol-
*There’s music in the background
She’s wishing there was more
I wonder what she’s thinking, as she stumbles to the door? I guess her life could’ve been better than this! She’s wondering-
Is there more…?
Now shes’s been here awhile, & she wants out. Most of us have been here awhile,
but we have our doubts. Seems like
something is gonna happen soon, maybe by dawn? Gonna make something happen soon,
But it’s way past dawn-
*There’s memories from our backgrounds
we’re wishing there was more…
It could happen to any of us, but we choose just to ignore. I guess life could be better than this? But, is there more? More, more, more…
Is the more?
We’ll find the door, stumbling, we’ll find the door-
Hope we find it… Just hope we find it.. gotta be More-
That day by the river
Those coins in your hand,
you threw them in and you made a wish,
to someday be a rich man.
Then you asked what I wish for?
And I’ll tell you true-
I’d like to marry a rich man,
but I guess you’ll do…
*Oh, how we felt, that cold March day
On a bridge, oh so far away,
We were young, but we had heart
& never knew that wishes,
would give us our start…
Been married seven years now
and rich, we’re not- but:
we’re still smiling and a trying
& we like what we’ve got.
Sometimes I think of us back then
& how it all began with a kiss,
just believing in each other-
Hell, we never needed that wish !

on a bridge, oh so far away,
We were young, but we had heart
Never knew that wishes
would give us our start…

& I cried, when they pushed their reform
All these days, all this wasted time
there running out, for this heart of mine-
