Crooked Frames Signed

By Jon McKay
Part. 1

To be understood
By what we
We all fear
Everything becomes clear

As

Life gave us title
Carved us to words
Love someone
That reminds what you

Find

And can not
Hide in yourself

That's all

Bridge

Crooked frames signed
Marked
Already sold
Placed in a hall
For someone to walk through

Crooked frames signed
Marked
Already sold
Spaced on a wall
Bought as one but are two

Part 2

Shelves once staked
In disguise
Lean towards
Darkness becomes fear

As

The age of innocence
That's now gone
Is where we
Exist and now belong

Find

We are behind
Sand now glass

That's all

Chorus--Ending

When we all die
We can but hope
Whilst lying in wait
Be and then become
A blend in printers ink
On paper soaked in tea
To age our memories easily

When we all die
We can but hope
Placed on different sides
In a home where we
Don't own anything a link
To be passed on for free
Ready to be taken elsewhere

Pressed behind
Crooked frames signed
Marked
Already sold

That's all

Ending

Pressed behind
Marked down
Soaked in tea
Age our memories
All to
Easily
