LYRIC FOR SALE

By Micki

I packed up my bags at the break of dawn
Highway hummin' and my heart was gone
Left behind the noise and the nine-to-five
Chasin’ a dream past the city lights
Mountains callin’ like a long-lost friend
Skies so blue they’ll never end
Found your picture in the glove compartment
I smiled and whispered, “One more night”

Colorado
Gotta go
Gotta go
Gotta go
Gotta go to Colorado
Gotta go
To Colorado

Colorado
Gotta go
Gotta go
Gotta go
Gotta go to Colorado
Gotta go
To Colorado

You always said you’d love it here
Snow on the mountains, a sky so clear
I see your smile in the golden fields
Hear your laugh on the steering wheel
Every sunset paints your name
This open road won’t feel the same
But I drive on like you’d want me to
With the radio up and the sky so blue

Colorado
Gotta go
Gotta go
Gotta go
Gotta go to Colorado
Gotta go
To Colorado

Colorado
Gotta go
Gotta go
Gotta go
Gotta go to Colorado
Gotta go
To Colorado

Found my home in Colorado
Found my soul in Colorado

Colorado
Gotta go
Gotta go
Gotta go
Gotta go to Colorado
Gotta go
To Colorado

Colorado
Gotta go
Gotta go
Gotta go
Gotta go to Colorado
Gotta go
To Colorado
