Sunrise

As I sit here waiting for the sun to rise. I look around me. I see mountains, the ocean the birds and the magnificence of the sky and all the colors it holds. I am in awe of the beauty and what God has created. I am so grateful for the beauty I see. I feel more connected connected to him and you now. I am not sitting far from where you are now lying in bed and getting ready to start your day. Is it my location or because my heart is with you.
Right now, it’s hard to distinguish which of God’s creation I am more in awe of the beauty that surrounds us. I look toward the sun my eyes are drawn to one mountain peak. Nothing else holds my gaze like that peak does.
Just like yesterday when I walked down the aisle at the store. You caught my eye and I couldn’t look away. As I walked toward you everything and everyone ceases to exist. I felt my heart jump and I couldn’t look away. Your beauty held my gaze you and your smile. You have no idea how beautiful you are. Will you ever really know how much I feel for you? I try to articulate all of my emotions but the words always fall short of what I am trying to convey.
I look away from the paper and my mind begins to drift.
In my daydream you and I are all alone where I sit now. Lying together in the bed of a truck beneath the sheets on a feather bed. Looking down the channel at the beautiful sunrise made for us to share nothing exists beyond you and me and the sunrise. The flowing breeze blowing across the sheets covering our naked bodies. We don’t say a word. There are none needed. We just lay in each other’s arms appreciating what God had given us. Each other and the beauty that surrounds us. As the sun becomes whole over the mountains and our day begins. You kiss me and we make love. The beauty of the vision in my minds eye is just as beautiful as the rising sun.
Again, I wonder whict of God’s creations I admire the most. The choice is obvious. Only you can make this happy, content and so in Love that I am able to see and truly appreciate the beauty of the sunrise. Before loving you nothing was as beautiful, nothing so awesome, nothing to be so cherished.
Not until you loved me could I appreciate the beauty that God has given to me. Your smile and the beauty of the sunrise.
Baby as sure as the sun rises everyday my love for you will shine just as bright as the sun does. There may be clouds in our future but I promise everyday you will know my love for you will shine through.
