Someone help me, help me to believe
in our humanity, someone please show to me
that all the greed I see, the jealousy, and
hatefulness in this world
the selfishness, it’s all about me
infection that’s turning hearts so cold
Is only an affliction of a small minority
and the greater majority feels like me
struggling to cope please rise up
and give me a reason to hold onto some hope
Yes, please rise up
good people of every nation
Stand in retaliation, Let us be so bold
to enter the equation without reservation
seize control, set a better example
And begin to remove evil from our world
Yes rise, rise, rise up

to conquer evil with good
Start the revolution moving us toward
finding a lasting solution a permanent resolution
of all discord, set a better example
So what we can to remove evil from our world

begin the fight within, become the needed change
rise up to rearrange rise up and begin

Start with any inner demons you might hold
Let us set a better example
Give us a chance to remove evil from our world

good people, join together
rise up and do better
Be a warrior in bloodless battle
no violence is needed to rattle
the darkness here
peace is what it fears

let us exercise our demons
Rise up with good reason
rise up with belief in of a future without war
no struggle anymore
between right and wrong, good and bad
because we’ve all chosen, chosen the better way
risen up to say
enough yes rise, rise up

good people of every nation
Reverse our situation
That’s no longer sustainable
Believe nothing is unattainable
If we rise, rise, rise up against
Darkness in our world
Humanity has a better story to be told
If we rise up to overcome
rise up and become a united force
doing only good of course
to conquer evil in this life
Just Imagine if everyone, everyday
Would rise up to say
I choose to do what is right
