We try to hold the reins so tight
Gripping the world, thinking we know what’s right
Every plan, every move, we try to define
But life slips away, like sand through time

The harder we push, the more it eludes
Chasing our dreams, yet drowning in moods
We search for the answers, the path in the haze
While the truth lies before us, not hidden in a maze

We build our walls, brick by brick
Constructing control, thinking we’re quick
But with every attempt to hold and to steer
We find ourselves further from what’s clear

The more we strive, the less we can see
How simple the answers are, just meant to be
We’re tangled in the web of our own creation
Caught in the storm of our own hesitation

But maybe the answer’s not in the fight
Not in the control, nor the endless night
Maybe it’s found in letting go
Releasing the hold, and letting life flow

Sometimes the hardest thing is to breathe
To stop the chase and just believe
That the answers were always here, waiting to be known
Right under our noses, in the seeds we’ve sown

So when the storm rages, when we can’t see the way
Remember the solution might just be to stay
Let go of the struggle, let the world unfold
And trust that the answers are there, you just been told
