Joy
By Sheena Hope
JOY
Verse 1
A Joyous Humbug, cynics all
This Christmas, let your guard fall
ghostly reminders, just lean into
feel the joyful vibe come through
Chorus
Come on, get your Joy on
Your upside down frown on
Get that Christmas time on
Come, Enjoy the Joy
Verse 2
No Blah Blahs, or whatever’s, please
negativity, is just a tease
Those Christmas gifts, are joy shared
In that thought, your heart’s repaired
Chorus
Come on, Get your Joy on
Your upside down frown on
Get that Christmas time on,
Come, Enjoy the Joy
Verse 3
Carols, candles, reindeer bells
Star and stable, the first nowell
Time of wonder, full of light
Come on then, with Joy unite
Chorus
Come on, get your Joy on
Your upside down frown on
Get that Christmas time on
Come, Enjoy the Joy
Bridge
There’s love, singing from the radio
Sweet movies, set in falling snow
Christmas feasting, turkey, pudding
Hardest hearts see Joy intruding
Chorus
Come on, get your Joy on
Your upside down frown on
Get that Christmas time on
Come, Enjoy the Joy!
