If she could just be smaller,
Like a grain of sand,
Under a microscope,
She’d shine like glass in her hand.
She’s a curve, a quiet swirl,
Like the shape of the universe,
Round like the womb
That held her first—
A place that felt safe, felt safe.

Sometimes she feels like breaking,
Shattering into pieces unseen,
Would they fall like rain,
Or vanish like a dream?
She feels the pressure inside her head,
A tightening, a grip so tight,
Holding her thoughts
Through the long, lonely night.

Oh, fragile as glass,
But beautiful all the same,
Even when the world
Feels like a cage or a flame.
She’s more than the weight
Of the battles she’s fought,
She’s shining inside
