I asked my magic 8 ball
What my future will be
Will there be romance
On the horizon, let's see

"Outlook not so good" it says
As I shake it up and down
"My sources say no"
I feel like such a clown

I drove downtown
And told the tarot card reader
Just one minute, I have to fill the
Parking meter

Is there a tall dark handsome man
Waiting to appear
It's been so long
It's got to be my year

The two of wands she pulls
'Anticipation and possibility'
What's new, I thought
Feeling close to senility

I pulled the flower petals
'He loves me, he loves me not'
When I reached the end
The stem was in a knot

I asked the astrologer
What his sign might be
She looks in my eyes and says
Clearly...I cannot see

I asked the night sky
Romeo where for art thou
Tears down my cheek
Maybe not now

I sigh... just a little
I smile...just a little
I pray...just a little
Some day

Meh, whatever I say
As I walk down the street
Stopped for a coffee
And took a seat

Not realizing a man
Was sitting by the chair

He had salt and pepper hair!

Oh hi, I stumble
Nice weather, I grin
I haven't seen you here

Over coffee we talk
Having lots to share
I think to myself
'We'd make a cute pair"
