Gladiator of poetry

By Brett Dan
Hell, hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Call me a fool, but I'll take you on.
All those new men in your life.
If you can remember their names,
Give them my number, get them to call me.

We can fight intellectually or roll on the floor,
I'll do both happily. you know me.
In my spare time I cut down trees.
Choose your words wisely, let's see who rises in victory.
I'm a gladiator of poetry; I'm a gladiator of poetry.

Facebook posts don't bother me.
I'm not a keyboard warrior,
I'll stand for all to see.
Because I'm a gladiator of poetry.
I'm a gladiator of poetry.
And hell, hath no fury like a gladiator of poetry.

There are no friends in love and war.
And wars aren't over until they're won.
So, bring it on. Call me a fool but I'll take you on
Break my bones, break my head.
Break my heart, I'd rather be dead.

I'm a thinker not a drinker.
And you've all been fore warned.
Hell, hath no fury like a man with a pen in his hand.
I'm a gladiator of poetry.
In my spare time I cut down trees.

Facebook posts don't bother me,
I'm not a keyboard warrior.
I'll stand for all to see.
Because I'm a gladiator of poetry.
I'm a gladiator of poetry.
And hell, hath no fury like a gladiator of poetry.

My words can cut like a sword,
We can fight intellectually or roll on the floor.
I'll do both happily.
Choose your words wisely,
Let's see who rises in victory.

Hell, hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Call me a fool, but I'll take you on.
I'm not a keyboard warrior, I'll stand for all to see.
I'm a gladiator of poetry; I'm a gladiator of poetry.
And hell, hath no fury like a gladiator of poetry.
