It’s over
Once we were lovers
Now we barely speak
Once we were strong
Now we are weak
All the years we spent together
No longer mean a thing
Now we sit in silence
Our hearts no longer sing

As the years went by
We slowly grew apart
Different needs different dreams
From those at the start
But too much has been shared

And not just for the children
