I left her standing at the altar. Wasn't ready for the married life. I wanted to see the world. I told her I wasn't ready. I had things I wanted to do. As the tears fell down her cheek, she told me she would wait for me. To this day I still think of her. I can recall the pain in her voice as I her her voice in my mind. I'll be waiting for you.

I wish I could tell her how sorry I am. I never met to hurt you. It's my fault and I live with that haunting me everyday. I should've went back for you because, I still love you.

I've been around the world. Seen alot of people. Sure, there were other girls. But they've came and gone. Leaving me lonely and forgotten. Life's been a lonely journey for me. I can't forget you though. Your words keep coming back to me. I'll be right here waiting for you. I've longed to go to you. But, you've long since moved on. As the years went by, I chose a different pathway. Now I am old and all alone. Nothing but those old memories of you to keep me company.
