Flood waters are already rising. It's getting worse. Yeah, a flood is coming baby. It's gonna wash away my memory of you.

Tonight I'm going down to filthy Dave's tavern. Gonna set at a table. Gonna drink til I get my fill.

A floods a coming baby. That whiskey gonna burn away your memory. I'm gonna stay right here until I can't remember you at all. I'm gonna hit that bar so I don't think of you any more.

A flood is coming baby. Coming to cleanse my mind. They say liquor is quicker. Looks like I'm bout to find that out.
