He's looking in,
Looking in,
This looking glass,
Man made of skin..

He can see,
Can see right in,
See right through
My second skin.

I've tried so hard
To cover me.
Paint the mask
To just blend in.

So I bend these layers
Over me.
These blanket scars,
That comfort me.

To bury, bury, bury me.
Bury me invisible.

But now he's looking,
Looking in.
Sees the me
That no one sees.

This staring in
Discomforts me,
Uncovers, shudders,rattles me.

I've tried so hard
To cover me.
Bend these layers
Over me.

These blanket scars

Bury me invisible.

Now I'm stripped, naked and exposed
Too close , to close
To being known.

He's ripping back these parts within,
Peeling layers once so covered in.

It's like dust, some memory,
Some fxxxed up trust we're breathing in.

My Uncovering...?
