Sometimes, thinking about it is a waste of time
Praying that you're never gonna lose your mind
Forever and ever watching days go by
Are you aware that your soul has died?
Feeling so empty and cold inside
Surrounded by your demons as the dark turns to light
You're so far away you've been consumed by the night
But giving up on the fight
Won't help you stay alive

You wanted out, you just had to evacuate
Yourself away to the night and asassinate
The ones you loved
The ones who wanted to understand
A little voice told you to run away
The little boy that you were is now an enemy
You walk alone with nobody to hold your hand
Just another victim of this broken land

I believe it's not long to go until I start to see
That the fears in my head are just make belief
And the future is worth more than what's underneath
Not saying life's perfect, that's far from the truth
Just fed up of the stupid little things that I do
The picture that I'm painting is black and white
It's incomplete, and that's when I find
The colours that I hide
Are lost in my mind
