“Director Angel B. Camilo grew up in the Dominican Republic and moved to Washington DC. USA at the age of 18 to attend South Easter University and then transferred to Strayer University . Upon graduation, Angel Move to Maryland direct the short drama film ‘The Neibor’ After working as a crew member on several shorts and Producion company, film is his directorial debut. Angel coo-direct ‘Sueños Ilegales’ Maryland soon, to work as First AD on the studio feature film, “Why Davis has to Die .”
Work as Technical director for a major news program “Washington Watch “ Hosted by Tony Perkins. And move to be the Audio visual Director at The Heritage Foundation.
His main career goal is to direct a feature film for a major production company.”
Born in November 13, 1983. In Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to parents Angel Camilo and Francia Familia. Has three Siblings, Jason Camilo, Nathalie Rodriguez, Jeniffer Camilo and Joangel Camilo. Spouse since 2005, Elizabeth Camilo. Has four kids, Edelyn Camilo (born 2003) , Herald Camilo (born 2007) Elaneth Camilo (born 2008) and Aneth Camilo (born 2013). Moved to Washington, DC in 1999 where he leave and Finish High School moving to Maryland , in 2001. Was then when he decided to pursue a life long dream to become a Writer and Director.
Despite his success, Angel enjoys his privacy, preferring the outdoors, family and close friends to the Red carpet. He has admitted that life in the lime-light can be a lonely place.
He appreciates that his success is something of a paradox. He initial attraction to writing grew out of the performer's ability hide behind a character totally unlike themselves. For Camilo Writing was a place to be anonymous and express his passion for art and creativity.
