I’m a British songwriter with a particular love for country music. I write from the heart, drawing on life experiences, love, loss, heartache and finding the strength to carry on.

For me, songwriting is about telling stories and putting real feelings into words. Sometimes those words are emotional, sometimes they’re a little feisty, but there’s always a story behind them.

My songs include These Old Boots, Don’t You Dare Go First and Batten Down the Hatches.

I’ve always enjoyed writing, from poetry and historical ballads to more recent country songs.

I’m also a published author, having written History, Poems & Ballads of Clan Carnegie, which combines my love of history, storytelling and poetry.

More recently, I’ve been concentrating on writing original country lyrics, including These Old Boots, Don’t You Dare Go First and Batten Down the Hatches.

I’ve also explored different musical styles through my Govinda’s Bhakti Beats project.

Although I’m relatively new to offering my lyrics to other artists, writing and storytelling have been part of my life for a long time.
