I'm a longtime lyricist and songwriter, passionate about creating laid-back country and tropical tracks that transport the listener to the islands. My songs feature strong hooks and catchy lyrics with broad appeal. In addition to the tropical vibe, I write with the aim of evoking some kind of emotion in the listener and hope people find meaning in the words. My wife of 23 years is my muse and inspiration, and most everything I write origintated with her or our experiences in mind.
An Arizona native, desert-lover, and sun-worshipper, I grew up in a farming community on the Mexico border. The son of a home-builder, I learned the value of hard work and working with my hands at a young age. I love to create and transform, whether it's new lyrics, an eopxy table, or a full home remodel; if I have a vision of what could be, I try to make it happen. A husband and father first and foremost, family is everything, and earlier seasons of life were dedicated to those endeavors. Now with grown children, I have a little more time to focus on my personal passion for music and writing.
