I was told I was forgiven that day
I was told that I was covered by grace
I was told I was forgiven that day;
I was told I'm not defined by mistakes.

There on the ground
Surrounded by men
with stones,
I saw His face

When I heard Him say
Where are those who condemn you today?
Dear daughter, lift your head, go your way
And sin no more.

I was told I was forgiven that day
I was told that I was covered by grace
I was told I was forgiven that day;
That I'm not limited by sickness or pain.

There on the roof
Lowered by friends
who cared,
I saw His face

When I heard Him say
Oh, I have never seen such faith
Dear son, take up your bed, go your way
And sin no more.

I was told I was forgiven that day
I was told that I was covered by grace
I was told I was forgiven that day;
That every sin I ever made was now paid.

There on the cross
Wearing a crown of thorns;
Blood covered His face,

When I heard Him say
Father, please forgive them today
He turned to look at me, and then said
For--given

With humble hearts we come before Your throne;
Lord, we magnify, and worship You alone.
We surrender as we kneel at Your feet.
Holy Spirit, come; You're all that we need.

Let Your will manifest in our hearts.
Let the power of Your words become ours.
Lord, with open hearts we glorify Your name.
Lord, with lifted hands we bring You this praise.

Chorus:
Let Your kingdom come, Your will be done,
Let the power of Your glory shine.
Let Your kingdom come, Your will be done,
Let the power of Your glory rise.
(Let the power of Your glory rise.)

Bridge:
Lead us [led us], guide us [guide us],
Keep us in Your love. 4x

End:
For Yours is the kingdom,
And Yours is the power,
And Yours is the glory,
Forever and ever.
