Lyric to Song Service

Any style, professionally composed and produced for SongBay members and non-members

Have your lyrics turned into original songs

It can be tough for lyricists to get into the industry. One of the biggest challenges is being able to find talented composers and musicians who can turn lyrics into completed songs. A great lyric is one thing, but most publishers do not accept ‘lyric-only’ submissions. Having at least one high-quality music demo within any lyric portfolio, is essential.

A song lifts a lyric from the page and brings it to life. We have a lifetime of experience in doing just this. Give us your lyric and we’ll turn it into a professional original song, based on your requirements - we’re always happy to offer guidance on this if you’re not sure what you need.

  • What can I say? It's amazing. I was so thrilled you started and ended the song bookended with her theme. The increasing complexity as the song progresses is brilliant, and feels natural - mirroring her growth and learning as she gets older. You have done a great job with the lyric to fit it to the theme. My expectations were high given the way you brought Your Smile to life for me, and you have exceeded those expectations, especially as this song has much more significance to me personally. I can't thank you, Chris and your colleagues enough for this. I so look forward to bringing of my words to life. Thanks Pev

  • It is really BEAUTIFUL and I LOOOOVE the driving beat. I am impressed that you managed to get around this and complete the recording of the song. Well done to you and the entire team. I am extremely delighted by all sections of the song and the ending. I extend my sincere gratitude to the composers (Chris Porter & yours truly Gary Cubberley) for the excellent piece of work. Initially as I wrote the lyrics, I had a female vocalist. in mind, however, from what I have heard from the song, I actually love the current male vocalistand will keep it that way. Thanks again team and I look forward to a continued collaboration with you.
