[Verse]
We're both human
We both have dreams and nightmares
We both breathe the same air
And we both have reasons to care
We both bleed when we're cut
We both like jelly doughnuts
And one day when we die
Our bones will all turn white
[Verse]
I don't like the way you dress
You look like a work in progress
I don't like your hair
If that mop was an app, it'd be malware
I don't like your attitude
You're curt, you're blunt and you're rude
[chorus]
But why should you care
I live over here
you live over there
We don't have to share
So why should I care
You live over here
I live over there
We don't have to share
[verse]
You don't like that I don't swear
I don't drop eff-bombs everywhere
You don't like it when I call you Ma'am
Well grow some real balls and I'll call you "Man"
You don't like that I use plastic
I'll work on that, pollution is tragic
[chorus]
But why should I care
you live over there
I live over here
We don't have to share
So why should you care
I live over here
You live over there
We don't have to share
[VERSE]
I'm adverse to your politics
You only take a stand for clicks
You say I'm narrow minded
No blame for what mankind did
I don't agree with your gay pride
You don't celebrate my Yuletide

Jelly Donuts

You're standing on the road and it feels so hard
Trying to stand tall while you fall apart
The sun is setting now and it's getting dark
Then the tremors come back and your feet feel parked
Its harder each day to make that start
And you're not sure you would without your spark

Its two boys and your man holding out their hands
Its two boys and your man reminding you you can
You've got it in you
Because we love you
And we know you
Are stronger than you feel

It was a silly little shake that your eldest saw
A bouncing little finger broadcasting your body's fraud
These days things are harder and they won't get easier
Your life has changed, it's like you've been hit by a meteor
Its harder each day to make that start
And you're not sure you would without your spark

Its two boys and your man holding out their hands
Its two boys and your man reminding you you can
You've got it in you
Because we love you
And we know you
Are stronger than you feel

It's a lonely space, its an empty place
It's where you find yourself
Displaced like waste
Its an echo chamber of such smart fools
Such confusing moods
Wishing life would just conclude…
Then the shakes would stop
You'd be back on top
You'd be out of the swamp

And your body would be yours again
And your mind would be yours again

But that's not you
Even when you want to
You've still got something
to hold on to

Its two boys and your man holding out their hands
Its two boys and your man reminding you you can
You've got it in you
Because we love you
And we know you
Are stronger than you feel

So you are not dismissed and we three commit
To push through this
We'll be limitless
We'll fight this thing, knock it out the ring
And when the bell ends the bout
it will be down for the count

Two boys and their Mother, a Man and his Wife
standing beside you to take back your life
Your love overflows and with them you know
That despite what life's dealt
You’ve always been so much stronger than you felt

LOVE PAST THE GREY

Let’s look for larks in the park
In our happy place
Let’s have wine as the sun sets
And forget our regrets
Let’s hold hands under the spread
As our dogs hog the bed
And let’s promise each day
To love past the grey

Let’s watch super moons rise
In breath stolen awe
Let’s wish on every star
And keep the wishes in our wishing jar
Let’s count the bats taking flight
Like little mouse shaped satellites
And let’s promise each day
To love past the grey

Let’s value true wealth
In sickness and in health
Let’s stand side by side
Against opinion and snide
Let’s share the glory
With wins celebratory
And let’s promise each day
To love past the grey

And now that we have direction and plans
Let me say thank you to you
My Love, My Pie Pie
Let me say that I've loved you
On this journey we've been through
Let me say that I've needed you
From before our porcelain rendezvous
And I promise each day
To love past the grave

Love Past The Grey

Your feelings are NOT more important than the truth!

Your truth is just high calorie fiction, more food for your fake news addiction
No chance of conviction in this jurisdiction when justice lies in dereliction
Our heroes are celluloid jokes while we're pinning our hopes on folks wearing cloaks

And the school system's up on the ropes

Ignoring the obvious does not sit well with us
When we agree with what they do, Big Media and You Know Who
It makes all that we stand for a hoax.

“Too many guns!”
“Too many guns!”
(Where are the Dads, where are the Moms?)
“Ban the guns!”
“Ban the guns!”
(Where are the Dads, where are the Moms?)

You blame the guns when the kids got no Moms
Why not blame the Moms when the kids have got guns?
It’s parental authority by a moral minority forcing agendas of a global authority
Harvest-lice and field mice consuming the last grains of paradise
Tiktok is for clocks not life advice, Wakey wakey Matey, you’re not woke you’re a JOKE!
A mistaken mistake, a social earthquake, only death and destruction left in your wake

Come daybreak you quake, as you realise to late, your social sacrifice has taken a real life
The face in the mirror shouts back in anger,
and you clamber…

trying to find…

your reasons for treasons whose malfeasance brings grievance
a seamless regress and your fingers caress…

the back button…

Your feelings are NOT more important than the truth!

“Too many guns!”
“Too many guns!”
(Where are the Dads, where are the Moms?)
“Ban the guns!”
“Ban the guns!”
(Where are the Dads, where are the Moms?)

All our prisons are fitted with revolving doors, a free education for carnivores
Kids learn more behind those walls than anyone learns from their professors
An early release by public opinion and integration remains an illusive dominion
With too little learnt and too much discovered while wishing his boyfriend believed in rubbers
Behind revolving doors and struck to the floor with no sign of the reform that he's hoping for

I don’t blame the kid, paying for what he did

Doing his time, while in the meantime his baby bro winds up finding his nine
Gunshots crack out, another light goes out, another kid takes the orphan’s path
A young father falls, his back to the wall, as the chamber refills and life’s ink spills,
Onto a tarmac canvas painted with last wishes and wills.

Back on the street with the wrong lessons learnt, no remorse no regret and everyone hurts

Society looks for answers while poverty advances and more kids take chances stuck in trances,

Dreams

of who they'll never be, never set free, never just me being me, being who I could be

“Too many guns!”
“Too many guns!”
(Where are the Dads, where are the Moms?)
“Ban the guns!”
“Ban the guns!”
(Where are the Dads, where a the Moms?)

Blame the Guns.

Let me regale a tale about an angry man
A selfish scoundrel with a selfish plan
He aligned with the cancer, thinking they can
Place him on the pedestal and make him the Man

The cancer was not cancerous enough for him
He wanted more, the original sin
With a need and a greed to feed his selfish kin
Raising him praising him as their kingpin

Breaking away to form a tribe for his people
Based on the theory that not all people are equal
If people were equal the soft willed would have sequels
And people like our man would look back to the prequal

Where a man standing taller and prouder than he
Said if I become them then you must end me
Still our man stands up limp and limp wristed
While raising his arm his hand held all tight fisted

Adorned with a Rolex and Tommy Hilfiger
Our man with a plan, on stage a gunslinger
He shouts and he rants, and poverty lingers
Proudly showing the elders his middle finger

While young males fail and hope lies in ashes
"I'm one of you" he declares to the masses
With glassy eyes behind dark glasses
The Johhny Blue still stinking his ass off

He calls his people fighters for freedom
Born Frees must need a reason to need him
Born free in name he reminds them their shame
By placing the blame on the same old blame game

The state of the nation is a state of disaster
Literally a joke but not worth the laughter
As our man holds onto his dream of godhood
He'll take us down with him if he could

So here's a message from me and my Crew
Hey Julius... EFF YOU!

EFF YOU

(INTRO)
Yes no yes no
all the questions let’s go
Yes no yes no
so many doubts to let go

(VERSE 1)
They tell me to trust my leaders
appointed to hold high office
All around me I see them
on plastic screens
Ten million mirrors
reflecting their offers
And somehow it seems
that they’ve got good intention
But always reveals
one small thing not mentioned
A promise as fake
as fake smiles and kisses
Like trusting the snake
who hisses and misses.

(CHORUS)
Yes no yes no
all the questions let’s go
Yes no yes no
so many doubts to let go

(VERSE 2)
If people are sheeple
name the shepherd who herds?
And expedient media puts up their hand
“Its me don’t you see,
I’m the one with a plan
I’m the one with the morals
What’s right and what’s wrong
I’ve got all the answers COME TAG (ME) ALONG!”
It’s likely it might be
a siren’s song
But honestly promise me
you’ll give it a chance
The music’s familiar
so let's have one last dance.

(CHORUS)
Yes no yes no
all the questions let’s go
Yes no yes no
so many doubts to let go

(VERSE 3)
Standing in ques
all colours and hues
together in blended ambition.
Lined up to be signed up,
ambition’s commission
two minute audition
three buzzers your mission
for glory
to share your life story
a number one hit on the charts.
Your passion now rationed
as fashion dictates
that number one hit
you wrote on a date.

(CHORUS)
No no no no
Now you’ve let yourself go
Yes yes yes yes
Its easy when THEY know best.

Living a willing lie smiling emoji I'm reeling and squealing inside.

Describing depression becomes an obsession when describing to them who don’t know.
Never quite sad and never quite glad
watching the living go by

Describing depression becomes an obsession when describing to them who don’t know.
Always present and always absent

Soooooo tick tock, clippity clop
The beast is here again
Unpredictable when
The lonely comes in
And emotions wash out with the tide.

Drowning in nothing
Choking on air
I wish I could explain why
But I’ll be fine
Every time
No war is won by one.

Because now its two
With me and you

Not one but two with you

With you on my side
I don’t need to hide
I know I can push back the tide.

EFF YOU!

EFF YOU
